I was the 2006 Republican Nominee for the U.S. House in the Pennsylvania 11th Congressional District. I am a Conservative Republican and having run a grassroots, shoe-leather, underfunded campaign for office, I have a unique insight into the issues facing our country.
What you’ll get here is my honest insight into the goings on in today’s political world.
My opinions do not always sync up with the current Republican Party. They are what I believe to be genuine, Conservative viewpoints, regardless of who is in office.
It is my firm belief that respectful and meaningful dialogue is the only way to arrive at real solutions to our problems. We have lost our way from the time when President Reagan and Speaker O’Neil would battle it out as adversaries during the day, but have dinner as friends in the evening.

I happened upon your blog from a link at either Huffington Post or Raw Story. I’ve taken the time to go back and read several months of your posts and although I don’t agree with everything…lol, I do appreciate the overall tenor of your posts and your responses to the comments as well. I especially like the “Keep up the dialoge” trailer you include on all your responses. One area in which I completely concur with you is that the current vitriolic climate of extreme partisan rigidity offers nothing in the way of solutions to the ever increasing problems we face as a Nation. It is reflected in every aspect of the Government and has seemingly contaminated other institutions as well. I once was told that you are either part of the problem or part of the solution. That one small comment resonated with me. Tolerance and patience , practiced in all our affairs can reveal previously unperceived conduits of grace and inspired insight if only we have the courage to entertain honest self appraisal and allow the notion of perhaps having been mistaken. I’ll continue to visit and chip in my two cents worth from time to time. Keep up the good work. If we all stop talking… then we are really in trouble.

This is a comprehensive, impartial website. It is meant to be an informational resource for voters, especially concerning local races that don’t normally get much attention in the media. It features video and audio interviews, a questionnaire on where candidates stand on key issues, and other such features. It also includes a “My Ballot” feature where users can enter their county and township to see which candidates are running within their area.
